Report summary
Nippon Steel's Kashima plant is based to the east of Tokyo in Kashima City, Ibaraki prefecture. The Kashima works specializes in the manufacture of high value-added finished products including steel sheet and plates, pipe and tube and steel shapes. The plant supplies sheet products mainly for automotive and household electronics applications. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs.
