Kemess North copper mine project
Report summary
The Kemess North project comprised two deposits, Kemess Underground and Kemess East porphyry deposits. The deposits will be mined by block caving underground mining method. Ore is expected to be processed in Kemess South plant to produce copper concentrate containing gold and silver values. Kemess North Project is located approximately 430km northwest of Prince George, BC. The project is located 6.5km from the Kemess South open pit and plant site. The Kemess South open pit mine closed in March 2011.
