Report summary
La Libertad is an open pit and underground operation. Open pit mining is carried out utilising conventional drill, blast and haul mining methods. Underground mining commenced from the Jabali West deposit in 2019 and mining is carried out using sublevel-stoping type methods (Avoca - longitudinal retreat and longitudinal longhole). The processing plant has a capacity of 2.25Mt/a and comprises a carbon-in-pulp (CIP) circuit.
