Report summary
Lapa is an underground mining operation located 11km east of Agnico Eagle's LaRonde mine, benefiting from operational synergies that exist between both mines. Given the relatively short mine life (2009 -2018), no stand alone processing plant was constructed. Instead, ore is treated at the nearby La Ronde plant. Mining and processing operations ceased in December 2018 due to reserve depletion, with a full-year gold production of 34koz.
