Mastra gold mine
Report summary
Mastra was a combined open pit and underground operation until the end of 2013, when open pit production was completed. Underground mine production ceased in April 2014 due to forestry and blasting permitting issues and processing of stockpiles was completed in July 2015. After obtaining the required permits and permissions production was re-started at the underground mine in June 2017 and at the open pit operation in October 2017. Processing of material re-commenced in Q1, 2018. Open pit mining ceased in August 2019.
