Located on the western shore of Hudson Bay in Nunavut’s Kivalliq District, Meliadine started commercial production in May 2019. The site includes multiple underground operations and open pits, with significant potential for further value across the mine and its large surrounding land package. The mill uses a conventional gold-processing circuit that includes crushing, grinding, gravity separation, and cyanide leaching through a carbon‑in‑leach system, followed by cyanide destruction and dry‑stack tailings filtration.
