Asset Report
Midas gold mine
Report summary
The Nevada operations consist of the Midas mine and mill, the Fire Creek mine, the Hollister mine, and the Aurora mine and mill. The property is located in north-central Nevada, 16 miles south of Interstate 80. The Fire Creek mine consists of an underground operation accessed by a decline, utilising primarily longhole stoping mining techniques. The ore is then trucked approximately 165 miles to the Midas mill for processing. The Hollister deposit was mined historically using both open pit and underground mining methods. The Hatter Graben vein system is situated within the Hollister property and there are plans to restart operations targeting this system when funds become available. The Midas mine adopts a combination of longhole stoping, and cut and fill mining methods.
