Minorca iron ore mine

Report summary

Minorca is a surface mine owned and operated by ArcelorMittal located in Minnesota's Mesabi Iron Range, near the town of Virginia. Output from Minorca is typically transferred to one of ArcelorMittal's several blast furnaces, but can also be sold on the open market to customers in the US and Canada. The mine has currently two pits in operation: Laurentian and East Pits.
