Southern Alliance Mining Ltd. (SAM) is an established producer of high-grade iron ore products in Malaysia. In June 2020, SAM became a publicly listed company in Singapore. SAM has been operating the Chaah Mine located at Johor, Malaysia since 2008. SAM sells iron ore concentrate of low level of impurities with total Fe grade of between 62% to 65% to steel mills and trading companies mainly located in Malaysia and China. The Chaah Mine is strategically located near existing road networks to ports. In addition to the Chaah Mine, SAM also has the right to carry out exploration and mining operations at three potential iron ore mines located in Johor, Malaysia.
