Report summary
Mount Polley is an open pit copper-gold mining operation with a underground component in British Columbia, Canada. It is located 56km northeast of the city of Williams Lake. The mine produces a copper concentrate with payable gold and silver. The concentrate is trucked to the Vancouver port and shipped overseas, or transported by rail to North America. The mine was placed on care and maintenance at the end of May 2019.
