Mutoshi copper mine

This profile includes notes on the former Mutoshi mine, the Mutoshi Northwest deposit, the Nioka deposit, the Kamukonko cobalt prospect and some prospective ground on the southern edge of the Kolwezi Klippe. The adjacent Kulumaziba operation in which copper and cobalt were recovered from tailings produced in the past by the Mutoshi mine is the subject of a separate profile. The Mutoshi mine is currently being developed for a mechanised operation by Chemaf SA.
