Namib zinc mine project
Report summary
The Namib Lead Zinc Silver Mine (NLZM) Project is focused on a zinc, lead and silver mineral deposit north-northeast of Swakopmund and 8km north of the main Swakopmund-Windhoek highway. North River Resources started construction of a new headframe and associated infrastructure in April 2018 following a US$22 million fund raising. Wood Mackenzie has moved the project into its base case with the operation scheduled to produce its first concentrate in Q1 2019.
