Nanguo copper refinery

Report summary
Nanguo copper refinery is integrated with Nanguo copper smelter, which is located in Chongzuo city, Guangxi province of China. The refinery adopted the permanent stainless steel cathode electrolysis process to treat all the anodes from its integrated smelter. Phase I of the refinery has a capacity of 300 ktpa refined copper, was commissioned together with the Phase I smelter in 2019. The expansion of the refinery with a designed incremental capacity of 400 ktpa started construction in 2020 and was supposed to be commissioned in 2023. The cost analysis of the refinery is from 2021 afterwards.
