Nifty copper minesite
Report summary
The Nifty copper mine, owned by Cyprium Metals, is located in the remote Great Sandy Desert, Western Australia. The operation comprises a historical open pit oxide mine and underground sulphide mine alongside an associated concentrator with nameplate capacity of 2.5Mt/a. Concentrate is trucked to Port Hedland for shipment to smelting and refining facility in India. The operation was placed into care and maintenance in November 2019.
