Report summary
Ningbo Iron and Steel is an integrated plant producing finished rolled steel in east China’s Zhejiang province. The plant is owned by Hangzhou Iron and Steel Group, a company publicly listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. Ningbo was built near the Beilun port, one of the largest iron ore importing ports, positioning it advantageously to receive raw material shipments. Raw materials are delivered to stockpiles via conveyors directly from the piers. Ningbo has two captive piers, which can handle Capesize ships and are dedicated to unloading iron ore and coal.
