Report summary
Niukutou is a zinc and lead mine in located in Geermu city, Qinghai province, China. The operation was commissioned in 2017 with Phase I comprising an underground mine and 2500tpd conventional crushing, grinding and flotation to produce zinc and lead concentrates. The operation includes a 700tpd magnetite plant. The mine plan expects to transition to underground mining for Phase II potentially adding a further 10 years to the mine life.
