Ovaçik (Dikili) gold mine
Report summary
Ovacik is used as a hub to process ore from regional deposits (Küçükdere, Çukuralan and Çorakliktepe). In 2020, ore was mined using underground mining methods at Çukuralan and mill feed was supplemented by stockpiles from the reginal deposits. The processing plant comprises a conventional carbon in pulp (CIP) facility with a leaching and adsorption circuit. Production and cost information is limited on the operation. Therefore, the accompanying analysis is based on Wood Mackenzie estimates and fully utilising ore reserves.
