Pardoo iron ore mine
Report summary
Pardoo is a small, open-cut iron ore mining operation, located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Pardoo is 100% owned by Atlas Iron and commenced operations in October 2008, with first exports occurring in December 2008. The mine was developed for a low capital cost of A$18 million. The mine was pit under care and maintenance in 2014 and remains closed. We do not expect the mine to re-open.
