Report summary
Operated by Essential Metals Ltd, Pioneer Dome is a proposed open-pit lithium mine operation located in Western Australia. Over a mine life of 7.3 years, Essential Metals Ltd have estimated that 126.2Mt of rock will be mined with on-site processing of 8.8Mt of mined ore at 1.11% Li2O. Concentrator design has been developed for annual production of 194.75kt of 5.7% Li2O spodumene concentrate at nameplate capacity. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating several granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry-standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now. This qualitative analysis is supplemented by the associated Excel download which enables interrogation of a whole series of cost and production metrics over the life of the asset.
