Radomiro Tomic SxEw copper mine

Report summary

The accompanying analysis considers the production of copper cathode at the Radomiro Tomic SxEw facility from oxide and low grade sulphide ore mined from the Radomiro Tomic (RT) open pit.  The plant has capacity of ~310kt/a SxEw Cu.  According to the 2018 PND cathode production from all leaching sources is expected until Q1 2028. Production is expected to decrease significantly since 2026 (94.4kt cathode). However, if the concentrator project is developed, low grade sulphide could be bioleached. Due to the uncertainty of this bioleaching project this was not included in the analysis.
