Rajpura-Dariba zinc mine
Report summary
Rajpura Dariba is owned by Hindustan Zinc Ltd, a subsidiary of Vedanta. The Rajpura Dariba mine is close to Sindesar Khurd mine, approximately 110km SW of Rampura-Agucha and 100km NE of the Zawar Group mines, which are the other main HZL mines in India. The mill produces a zinc, lead and bulk concentrate. Sindesar Khurd originally opened as a satellite mine of Rajpura Dariba, prior to commissioning of the Sindesar Khurd mill in 2011.
