Ray copper minesite
Report summary
The Ray complex consists of various assets at Ray and Hayden, which are 30km apart and connected by rail. At Ray, operations consist of a 27.7kt/d (32kst/d) concentrator, an open-pit mine, an SxEw plant, and leach dumps. At Hayden, operations include a 22.5kt/d (27kst/d) concentrator and a copper smelter. Crushed sulphide ore from Ray is either railed to the Hayden concentrator, or conveyed after in-pit crushing to the Ray concentrator.
