Reko Diq copper mine project
Report summary
Reko Diq is a copper-gold project in NW Pakistan near the borders of Afghanistan and Iran. Under the 2010 feasilbility study, the project was planned as an open-pit mining operation with ore processing by flotation in a 110kt/d plant and estimated mine life of 56 years with average annual production of ~200kt of copper and ~250koz of gold in copper concentrate. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now. This qualitative analysis is supplemented by the associated Excel download which enables interrogation of a whole series of cost and production metrics over the life of the asset
