Report summary
Marsa is a an underground vein gold mine exploited by a conventional over cut and fill mining method. It operates a 1.8kt/d processing plant. This plant includes a flotation circuit and a Merrill Crowe circuit. The saleable product is the Au-Ag precipitate. The precipitate contains 50% of Au and 15%Ag and the balance are impurities. It produces two types of tailings: Flotation and cyanidation tailings.
