Ronnskar copper smelter
Report summary
The Ronnskar copper smelter was commissioned in 1930 to treat concentrates from the company's own mines. A lead smelter was constructed on the same site in 1943. Currently the primary lead smelting is undertaken in a TBRC that is also used in campaigns for burning and melting plastic insulated copper scrap.
