Rosebery zinc mine

Report summary

Rosebery is an underground polymetallic mine located in the Mount Read volcanic Arc of Western Tasmania, some 50km NE of Strahan. Mining of the deposit has been continuous since 1936. MMG Ltd has estimated that Rosebery's production will range between 85,000 and 95,000t of zinc in concentrate in 2019. C1 costs are expected to range between US$0.25-US$0.35/lb Zn which is higher than 2018 C1 costs reported.
