Saganoseki copper smelter

The smelter is located in Saganoseki, Kyushu island and it uses the Flash technology. The smelter capacity is 1.7Mt/a conc (528kt/a copper) and its sulphur collection efficiency is 99.7%. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs.
