San Cristobal (Mahr Tunnel) zinc mine
Report summary
San Cristobal (M. Tunnel) operates the Mahr Tunnel 2.9kt/d ore concentrator. This plant is usually fed by the surrounding polymetallic underground mines of the Yauli economic unit. The copper, lead and zinc concentrates are exported through the Callao Port in Lima. In 2018 the M. Tunnel concentrator was expected to receive 87% of the ore from the Ticlio mine and the balance from the San Cristobal and Carahuacra mine.
