Asset Report
San Martin Restart zinc mine project
Report summary
San Martin was on strike since July 2007 and has re-started its mine operations (commissioning) in April 2019. In 2020 the milled production was 1.36Mt of ore reaching almost full capacity of the mill (4kt/d ore). For 2021 the plan was to mill 1.37Mt and future years the plan was to get full capacity at 1.54Mt ore. This was expected to be possible because they have started to operate the San Martin shaft.
