Asset Report
Santa Eulalia zinc mine
Report summary
Santa Eulalia is an underground mine and mill operation, producing zinc and lead concentrate. The mill capacity is 1.45kt/d ore. The major challenge for this mine is the risk of flooding. In 2016 the mine's management estimated a mine life of 8-10 years, but it is expected that when the other deeper areas of the mine are included, the life could be extended beyond 2030. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now. This qualitative analysis is supplemented by the associated Excel download which enables interrogation of a whole series of cost and production metrics over the life of the asset.
