Asset Report
Siguiri gold mine
Report summary
Siguiri is contractor-mined using conventional open-pit techniques, with ore extraction from multiple fresh rock and open pits. Ore is treated in a 11.8Mt/a processing plant with a hybrid carbon-in-leach (CIL) circuit converted from a carbon-in-pulp (CIP) circuit. Historically, ore production was predominantly from oxide (soft rock) pits, but future supply will be from a combination of oxide and fresh / hard rock material. The CIL combination plant conversion project commenced in 2017 to enable treatment of harder ore and add significant economic resources to the mine which was commissioned in 2019.
