Skouries gold mine project
Report summary
The Skouries project involves mining by a combination of open pit and underground methods, over a 23 year mine life. Ore will be treated in an 8Mt/a plant recovering a gold dore (from a gravity circuit) and a Cu/Au concentrate from froth flotation. The project remains on care and maintenance pending investment framework agreements being reached between the company and the Greek government. Permitting is also underway for the proposed use of dry stack tailings deposition.
