Sotkamo, Terrafame - Nickel sulphate refinery

Operated by Terrafame, the Sotkamo plant is located in Finland. The plant historically produced nickel sulphide concentrate, which it sold to third party customers. However, in 2017, the company announced it would develop nickel sulphate capacity at the Sotkamo plant, successfully commissioning the plant in 2021. The plant uses MSP produced at the plant as feedstock for nickel sulphate production.
