Tacuma (Boa Esperanza) copper mine project
Report summary
Tucuma is a copper mine project located in the municipality of Tucuma in Brazil, approximately 200 km from the Carajas Iron District. The project is fully owned by Mineracao Caraiba S.A.(MCSA), which is 99.6% owned by Ero Copper Corporation. MCSA is planning to exploit this deposit through a conventional open pit mine and a 4Mt/a concentrator plant to produce saleable copper concentrate. Copper concentrate produced is expected to have low levels of deleterious elements.
