Asset Report
Tambo Grande gold mine project
Report summary
The project has been abandoned since 2004 and no mining activity is allowed in the area. The character of the accompanying analysis is just speculative. It assumes al old plan that included a mine-mill 8kt/d ore plant to treat oxide ore to recover gold as dore and after the third year of operation to operate a 20kt/d plant to produce copper and zinc concentrates. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now. This qualitative analysis is supplemented by the associated Excel download which enables interrogation of a whole series of cost and production metrics over the life of the asset.
