Report summary

The Taxco mining complex includes several underground mines (San Antonio, Guerrero and Remedios) and a 2kt/d ore flotation plant that produces lead and zinc concentrate with gold and silver amounts.

Mine and mill closed at the end of September 2007.

In July 2015, the company had commenced some works relating to the restart of operations. Wood Mackenzie believes the operation could be re-started by 2017. The restart date remains speculative.
