Report summary
Vale and its predecessors have been operating in Sudbury for more than 100 years. The company’s nickel operations are now among the largest in the world. According to Vale, the Sudbury Basin still possesses untapped deposits of nickel that will ensure mining will continue in the region for the next few decades. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs.
