The Veduga project is a high grade, refractory gold deposit located in the active mining district of Krasnoyarsk Region, in Russia. Fairly incremental tonnages of open pit ore were being processed through the Varvara mill, prior to the concentrate reporting to the Amursk POX facility. The project in the accompanying analysis incorporates the plans to build a standalone concentrator to process Veduga ore. It is proposed that the deposit will be operated initially as an open pit operation followed by selective underground mining. The proposed concentrator was going to consist of a conventional flotation circuit to produce a sulphide concentrate for toll treatment.
