Zhuzhou zinc smelter

The Zhuzhou smelter in China uses roast, leach, electrowin technology, along with the direct atmospheric leaching of concentrates, to produce slab zinc. Current capacity is 450kt/a of slab zinc, which makes Zhuzhou the largest zinc smelter in China. There are currently no plans to increase this.
