Report summary
Zijin Copper is located in Shanghang County, 220km northwest Xiamen city, Fujian province. A special railway line for smelter was opened in January 2013. The EIA for this project was approved in November 2008, and project construction commenced in October 2009. The project was commissioned at the end of 2011. As one of the largest gold producer in China, it is Zijin’s first copper smelting project.
