This insight will discuss the price parity concept and how Wood Mackenzie incorporates this into our price forecast methodology for all products. In general, price parities are identified for each product based on how different market participants engage the market. Price parities can be thought of as resistance and support levels where new tiers of supply and new tiers of demand are turned on and off based on economic incentives.
