Report summary
Cyprus boasts huge undeveloped gas resources, but its potential has been hampered by complex market challenges. In the last two years, deepwater offshore Cyprus has been one of the shining lights in European exploration thanks to its giant gas discoveries. Exploration offshore Cyprus will primarily be focused within the Eratosthenes Platform basin, with multiple exploration wells and appraisal wells planned for the end of 2021 and into Q1 2022.
