High impact exploration has continued to deliver throughout 2022. IOC’s continue to go after the biggest prospects. Around 16 bnboe of resource has already been discovered this year to date. 17 of our wells to watch have completed since our May edition, discovering around 800 mmboe. 15 wells remain with 12 expected to spud before year-end. Deep and ultra-deepwater remains an exclusive sector in which the large players are concentrating high-impact exploration to unlock vast resources.
