We expect high-impact exploration to continue through 2021, following very successful results for the sector in 2020. Throughout this insight we highlight our choices for the top wildcats to watch over the coming year. Our choices reflect the best prospects globally. Companies are largely targeting recently proven plays, where advantaged barrels tend to be discovered. Many of our choices are in similar plays and basins that have been tested in recent years. Exploration returns in hot basins that saw a hiatus or slow-down in exploration in 2020. Exploration in such basins, could be make or break for some plays.
