As the transition ramps up: What can slow the train toward a cleaner and leaner North America power grid?

The last year and a half has given shape to the global energy transition, with renewables and storage technologies becoming a dominant technology choice – almost universally across the US states and Canadian provinces. The cost of solar and wind have fallen below their fossil counterparts across much of the region, with investments across the value chain and stakeholders.
