Europe distributed energy storage outlook 2022

Europe has ambitious decarbonisation targets for its energy and power sectors. European citizens will play a crucial role in achieving those targets, being placed at ‘the centre of the energy transition’ by the European Commission. With regulations such as mandatory solar PV rooftops and higher exposure to volatile power market prices for households or commercial and industrial players, distributed storage assets will become a part of everyday life.
