A flurry of solar M&A announcements have strengthened the French Major’s position in the scramble to demonstrate low-carbon supremacy. Four recent deals will significantly expand its global solar PV footprint, extending its leadership among the Majors in the solar space. By 2025, Total is targeting the deployment of 25 GW of renewable power. We examine what a renewable portfolio of that size would have for overall company cash flows. We also explore what level of capital might be required to hit Total's 25 GW target .
