Poland power market outlook to 2050: Q3 2022

We are pleased to publish our initial long-term outlook for the Polish power market, the latest addition to the coverage provided by our Europe Power Service. This report presents a commentary on market development, decarbonisation and the changing dynamics of price formation. This new market report is supported by a comprehensive dataset, including views of annual capacities, supply mix, power demand, prices, and hourly volume and price data. In recognition of the current, unprecedented degree of uncertainty surrounding commodity prices, the market price base case is complemented by an alternative view, applying much higher input costs in the short- to mid-term. Also, to better explore the sensitivities of renewable capture prices we present an assessment of outcomes under a range of weather conditions.
