Report summary
Early this year, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) rejected Energy Secretary Perry's Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NOPR), which would provide cost recovery specifically to coal and nuclear power plants. Within the same proceeding, FERC initiated a proposed docket directing each RTO and ISO to submit its issues and concerns regarding grid resiliency. This insight summarizes each filling submitted by RTO/ISO starting from March 2018. In this report, you will find: • A summary of comments and highlighted agenda items in each resiliency filling; • Detailed presentations of ISO/RTO's energy market feature and resiliency needs.
