The California ISO C8 Queue and The Future of Power
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
On June 18th the California ISO updated its Generator Interconnection Queue to include the Cluster 8 projects that have met the requirements necessary in order to be assigned queue positions. The 123 new queue entries dramatically reinforce that California is rapidly moving to a low carbon future. Solar projects dominate renewable proposals, while natural gas-fired technology appears relegated to second-tier flexible capacity support behind storage technologies.
